1. What is vivid hair color? Vivid hair color is also called fashion color or creative color. It is primarily semi permanent color, also called direct dye.
2. How does it work? It coats hair strands with color instead of depositing color deeper inside the hair shaft like a demi permanent or permanent color.
3. Does it lighten hair? Nope, the vivid color does not lighten your hair. Lightener (bleach) is often used before vivid color is applied so that the vivid is brighter.
4. Do I have to lighten my hair? Many colors look great over natural hair. To lighten or not to lighten, that is the question... and we will decide together based on your inspo and budget.
5. Does it wash out? Most colors will fade over the course of several months. Most colors can be lifted out of the hair with specialized products or with lightener.
